Significantly whiter and brighter smile was created with Opalescence Whitening Tray system.
Stained upper anterior teeth and tooth edges were worn and chipped. Restoration included 8 upper porcelain crowns, gum line and making incisal edges uniform.
Porcelain crowns and gingival re-contouring corrected congenitally small lateral incisors. Correct shape and dimension of teeth match the rest of this patient’s smile.
For tetracycline stained teeth, Porcelain Veneers are the treatment of choice. Neither whitening nor composites work due to the deep stain caused by tetracycline. This smile makeover consisted of 8 upper and 8 lower veneers and crown restorations.
Unusually small lateral incisors (the teeth next to his front teeth) were appropriately re-sized by creating two porcelain veneers on the smaller teeth, giving them a correct shape and dimension that matched the rest of the smile. There was an additional small composite filling on the chipped front tooth.
The space between the upper and lower teeth was closed with veneers to provide this patient with the smile they always wanted.
RESTORATIONS
After an accident caused this patient to loose their front teeth, they were replaced with dental implants and all new porcelain crowns.
A tooth fractured at the gum line was repaired with a root canal, an implant and porcelain crowns. Our patient was happy to have her smile back!
